Atlas — AI-Powered Personal Command Center
Atlas is a personal productivity application that unifies your email, calendar, tasks,
and notes from multiple providers — including Google (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Tasks,
Google Classroom), Microsoft (Outlook mail and calendar), Apple (iCloud mail, Apple
Calendar, Apple Reminders), and Yahoo — into a single, organized workspace.
Atlas uses artificial intelligence to triage your inbox, surface what needs attention,
draft replies, and help you stay on top of communication and scheduling across all of
your accounts in one place. The app is designed for individuals who manage multiple
email accounts and calendars — including professionals, students, and anyone juggling
personal and work accounts across Google, Microsoft, Apple, and Yahoo.

Why Atlas needs access to your accounts
To bring your information together in one workspace, Atlas requests permission to connect
the accounts you choose. Atlas only accesses what is needed to power the features you use:

Read, organize, send, and draft email from your inbox.

Sync, create, and manage your calendar events.

Sync your to-do lists and class assignments.

Contacts:
Help you address emails and manage recipients.
You choose which accounts to connect, and you can disconnect at any time. Atlas never
shares your data with third parties and never uses your data to train AI models.

Atlas ("we", "us", or "our") is a personal command center that integrates your email,
calendar, tasks, reminders, and notes into a single workspace. This Privacy Policy
explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Access
When you connect your accounts, Atlas requests access to the following data with your
explicit consent:

Email
— Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, and iCloud message metadata, subjects, senders, previews, and body content for inbox organization and AI-assisted triage.

Calendar
— Google, Apple, and Outlook calendar events for scheduling and cross-platform sync.

Tasks & Reminders
— Google Tasks, Google Classroom assignments, Canvas LMS assignments, and Apple Reminders for task management.

Notes
— Notion page titles and content for note synchronization.

Contacts
— Email addresses for autocomplete and contact management.

Account Information
— Your name and email address as provided by the connected service for account identification and display.
2. How We Use Your Data

Display and organize your inbox, calendar, and tasks within the app.

Power AI features such as inbox triage, email summarization, and smart suggestions.

Synchronize data between your connected accounts (e.g., cross-calendar sync).

Send and draft emails on your behalf when you explicitly request it.

Generate daily briefings and reminders based on your calendar and task data.
3. Data Collection & Usage
Atlas collects and processes the following categories of personal data:

Email data:
Message subjects, sender and recipient addresses, timestamps, labels, read/unread status, and full message body content for display and AI processing.

Calendar data:
Event titles, dates, times, locations, descriptions, and recurrence rules.

Task data:
Task titles, descriptions, due dates, completion status, and priority flags.

Authentication tokens:
OAuth access and refresh tokens stored securely to maintain your connected account sessions.

Usage data:
App settings, preferences, and feature configuration you choose to enable.
We do not collect data from users who have not created an account or connected at least
one service. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. We do not sell, rent, or
share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely in our database and is scoped to your account. We use
row-level security so only you can access your own records. OAuth tokens are encrypted
and refreshed automatically. All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Access
to production systems is restricted and audited.
5. AI Processing
Atlas uses AI models to analyze email content for categorization, summarization, and
suggestion generation. Email and calendar content may be sent to our AI providers
(such as OpenAI and Google) for processing when you use AI-powered features. We do
not use your personal data to train AI models. AI processing is performed on-demand
only when you interact with AI features, and processed content is not retained by
our AI providers beyond the immediate request.
6. Third-Party Services
Atlas integrates with the following third-party services when you choose to connect them:

Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Tasks, Google Classroom (via Google OAuth)

Outlook mail and calendar (via Microsoft OAuth)

iCloud mail, Apple Calendar, Apple Reminders (via app-specific passwords)

Assignment sync (via iCal feed or API)
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.
Atlas only requests the minimum scopes necessary for each service.
7. Your Choices & Rights

You can disconnect any linked account at any time from Settings.

You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings.

You can revoke OAuth access from your provider's account settings at any time.

You can export or request deletion of your data at any time.
-
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data only for as long as your account is active and your accounts are
connected. When you disconnect an account or delete your Atlas account, we remove the
associated data within 30 days. OAuth tokens are revoked immediately upon disconnection.
9. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or
advertising purposes. Your data is only shared with AI processing providers when
necessary to power the AI features you use, and only for the duration of the processing
request. We may disclose data if required by law or legal process.
10. Children's Privacy
Atlas is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from
them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so
we can delete it.
11. International Users
Atlas is available to users worldwide. If you are accessing Atlas from outside the
United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By
using Atlas, you consent to this transfer.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant
changes within the app. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when
the policy was last revised.
